Welcome to Cancer Fund for Children’s Summer Social Fundraiser!

We’re inviting families, community groups, schools, and corporate teams to come together this summer and make a difference in the lives of children and young people impacted by cancer.

Every month across the island of Ireland, up to another 40 children and young people (aged 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer.

So we’re rallying support aimed at raising vital funds and spreading awareness about childhood cancer so that we can continue with our vital work. Without individuals, schools, businesses, clubs and community groups by our side, we simply could not be there to provide the right support at the right time.

There are countless ways to get involved in the Summer Social Fundraiser. Here are just a few ideas:

• Host a Picnic or BBQ: Gather your friends, family and neighbours for a summery outdoor gathering. Charge a small entry fee or ask for donations in support of Cancer Fund For Children.
• Daily Walking Challenge: Encourage participants to pledge a daily steps target throughout the summer. Participants can seek sponsorship from friends and colleagues for each step taken, with all proceeds going towards Cancer Fund for Children
• Yellow Day: Wear an item of yellow for the day in celebration of Cancer Fund for Children and ask supporters for a small donation to join in. Great for schools, clubs or businesses.
• School Sports Day Fundraiser: Coordinate with your school to host a sports day with a charitable twist. Incorporate fun activities, games and competitions with all proceeds going towards supporting children and young people impacted by cancer.
