Health & Wellbeing Mini Breaks

Reflexology – a relaxing foot treatment to help with symptoms associated with stress such as sleep problems, breathing, digestive problems and tension
Massage – a relaxing back massage to help with muscular tension and stress
After a healthy lunch you can attend a yoga class, which will help you to relax your body and mind.
Check in to your room is at 4.30pm. Dinner is at 6.00pm.
After dinner we will hold healthy living workshops on a variety of subjects including:
- ‘Be your own wellness coach’
- ‘Mindfulness and relaxation skills’
- ‘Emotional resilience’
- ‘Managing your energy’
Breakfast is at 9.00am the following morning and check out at 10.00am.
Numbers are limited, and priority will be given to parents who have not had the chance to attend a health and wellbeing mini break. Parents may bring a friend or carer with them (over 18s only). To register your interest please fill out the form below.
Please note to attend our Health and Well-being mini breaks your family must currently be receiving support from Cancer Fund for Children.
Relaxation Exercise
Why not give this simple colour breathing exercise a try at home. Many people find it difficult to relax or meditate because their minds are too busy.
Colour Breathing is an excellent tool for self-relaxation and stress management. Practising this exercise can also help improve your breathing technique whilst relieving fatigue and boosting your energy levels.
To do this exercise you just need a quiet space and a comfortable sitting position, lower your gaze or close your eyes and begin. Take part online here.
