More and more of our supporters are joining forces to form Community Fundraising Groups in support of Cancer Fund for Children. Our groups work very hard to raise awareness and generate vital funds in areas across the island of Ireland.
Here are just some of the ways your fundraising groups make a difference:
Organising or assisting with local fundraising events
Receiving donations from local people on our behalf
Volunteering at collections and placing collection boxes in local shops
Promoting fundraising events and raising awareness of the work we do
JOIN OR CREATE YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING SUPPORT GROUP
Help raise the profile of and vital funds for Cancer Fund for Children in your area
Become really involved in your community and meet new people
Have support from a Cancer Fund for Children Fundraiser
Share new and exciting experiences!
Become a Community Champion!
You can also apply to be a Community Champion, representing Cancer Fund for Children and raising vital funds and awareness in your local area.
Community Champions assist the Cancer Fund for Children fundraising team with events including facilitating and attending events, organising cheque presentations and taking part in launch photos. Each Community Champion is provided with training and materials needed to fulfil their role. They are also connected with the charity’s Volunteer Coordinator to support them in their activity.
