Your Impact

Every month across the island of Ireland, approximately 40 children and young people (aged 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer.

Hosting a Daisy Coffee Morning in aid of Cancer Fund for Children is a simple yet powerful way to make a real difference. Every cup shared helps provide vital emotional and practical support to children and young people, and their families, when they need it most. Your generosity ensures families don’t face this journey alone.

Funds raised could provide support in family homes in every province, support on the hospital wards in Belfast and Dublin, and therapeutic short breaks at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down. Construction of our second Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo in currently underway with the doors set to open in Spring 2027 which will allow us to almost double the number of families we can reach across Ireland with short breaks.

Your Daisy Coffee Morning can be organised at anytime throughout the year and, by brewing some good, you will help us bring comfort and hope to families during the toughest times. Together, we can turn coffee into compassion and create brighter days for those who need it most.

Organising Your Daisy Coffee Morning

1. Choose a location and pick any date throughout the year that suits you and your guests best! You could tie your event in with an awareness day or month to maximise impact – for example, World Cancer Day on 4th February, International Childhood Cancer Day on 15th February, Teenage & Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month throughout April, or Childhood Cancer Awareness Month throughout September.

2. Set up your online giving page using the buttons below.

3. Download your free fundraising toolkit at the bottom of this page.

4. Invite your guests and share your online giving page link for donations.

5. Prepare for your day – buy in some treats, ask everyone to donate something for the day, or get everyone baking!

6. Have fun! Re-share you online fundraising page link and set out a box for cash donations. Don’t forget to snap some photos and tag us online.

Maximising your event:

If you want to take your Coffee Morning to the next level, consider adding in a Bake Off competition or a raffle! Whether you host your Coffee Morning in the office or not, consider requesting match funding from your employer in support of your amazing efforts. It could be a simple way of doubling your donations.
