Your Impact

Every week across the island of Ireland, up to another 10 children and young people (aged 0-24) will be diagnosed with cancer.

Beyond the essential medical care, Cancer Fund for Children is there to provide vital emotional and therapeutic support to empower, connect and strengthen families so they feel equipped to deal with whatever cancer throws at them.

Cancer treatment is frightening, challenging, and isolating, but with Cancer Fund for Children there to provide the right support at the right time, we can help ensure no child has to face cancer alone. It simply isn’t possible though without amazing people like you by our side.

The starting and finishing points of the challenge represent very special places in our hearts – home to Daisy Lodge, our short break therapeutic short break centres offering free short breaks to children, young people and their families when they need it most. Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co Down has been open since 2014 and has supported thousands of families right across the island of Ireland. Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo is currently under construction with the doors due to open in early Spring 2027. This second centre will allow us to almost double the amount of families we can support with a short break every year.

Every pedal stroke, every hill conquered, and every mile behind you becomes a lifeline for children, young people and their families. This ride isn’t just a test of endurance – it’s a powerful statement of hope, strength, and solidarity. Push your limits, inspire others, and help create brighter days for those who need it most. Let’s ride with purpose.
