Cancer Fund for Children are launching our first-ever Daisy Chain campaign!

We’re reaching out to students of all ages that would like to join us in supporting children and young people across the island of Ireland who have been impacted by a cancer diagnosis.

Every month across Ireland, another 40 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer.

With us all working together, we can continue to grow our vital services and ensure no child has to face cancer alone.

I am excited to launch our brand new Daisy Chain event for schools. Daisy Chain is all about school pupils doing something to help others, who are the same age as them, that are impacted by a cancer diagnosis. By taking part, helping raise money and awareness, pupils and teachers can together help us grow our services throughout Ireland.

Taking part is easy!

If you and your pupils are ready to get involved and help make a difference, it’s time to sign up!

1) Register via our form at the bottom of this page to join our Daisy Chain and receive your free fundraising pack.

2) Start planning your fundraising event! This could be a non-uniform day, bake sale or something bigger like a Colour Run. Our team will be here every step of the way to help you with advice and supporting materials. You will also find a promo poster, links to set up online giving pages, and bunting to decorate in your fundraising pack.

3) Help us raise awareness by sharing your plans with us and all your followers on social media. Simply tag @DaisyLodge4Mayo on Facebook and Instagram. We can’t wait to see what you get up to!

4) Nominate another school in your area to join our Daisy Chain! The more schools on board, the more children and young people we can be there for with support in the family home, support on the hospital ward, and support at our therapeutic short break centre Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down. Our new Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo is due to open in 2026 which will see us double the amount of children and young people we can support.
