Be a superhero for children with cancer! Sign up for our Croke Park Abseil challenge today.

The Challenge

Abseil Croke Park this June and help us ensure no child has to face cancer alone.

With your colleagues, community group, club, or family and friends, this is your chance to take on a thrilling challenge, conquer your fears, and be a superhero for the day to raise vital funds to help Cancer Fund for Children continue to be there for children and young people impacted by cancer when they need us the most.

With a drop of almost 150ft (44 metres), you will ascend from the roof of the stadium (the 3rd largest in Europe!) to the hallowed ground below. And it is not just about the abseil – getting to the abseil location is all part of the experience too as you take the steps to the roof and take in the incredible views over the city.

Your Impact

Every month across the island of Ireland, up to another 40 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer.

Cancer treatment is frightening, challenging, and isolating and can devastate families emotionally, physically, and financially. For a diagnosed child, months of gruelling treatment and its side effects can impact their mental health, their education, and their friendships.

At Cancer Fund for Children, we understand the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and its treatment have on the whole family, and that beyond the essential medical care, there is a family life that needs to be rebuilt.

Our aim is to empower, connect and strengthen families, so they feel equipped to deal with whatever cancer throws at them, but we simply could not do this without amazing people like you by our side.

So, are you ready to be a superhero?

Step off the edge and join us today and, together, we can ensure that no child has to face cancer alone.
