Youth Support Worker (YSW-ROI-26-15)
Cancer Fund for Children’s mission is to ensure that no child or young person across the island of Ireland has to face cancer alone. The charity has over 30 years’ experience delivering support and services to children, teenagers and young adults living with cancer and their families.
The Youth Support Worker will work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team within CHI Crumlin to deliver individual and group support to those aged 11-16+ impacted by cancer while on the ward. The purpose of this support is to help these young people feel more connected and less isolated, supporting them to develop coping skills so they feel better able to process their cancer experience.
