Volunteer Nail Technician at Daisy Lodge 

What is the purpose of the role? 

Our Nail Technicians work with families visiting Daisy Lodge to provide nail treatments including pedicures and manicures to help deliver therapeutic services to adults and children impacted by cancer. As a nail technician you will work with visiting family members to provide nail care and manicures/pedicures.  

Location 

Daisy Lodge, 124a Bryansford Road, Newcastle, BT33 0PP 

All volunteers in Daisy Lodge will go through our Volunteer Recruitment process : 

* Application through our webpage

* Informal Interview 

* Provide 2 references  

* Access NI check 

* Attend induction with tour of Daisy Lodge.  

Essential Skills/Experience and Qualifications: 

* All volunteers must be 18 years and over 

* NVQ level 2+ or equivalent 

* Good communication skills 

* Commitment and reliability 

* Work well as part of a team 

* Membership with a recognised body 

Desirable: 

* Experience working with people with Cancer
