New Trustee Joins Cancer Fund for Children’s Board

Cancer Fund for Children is delighted to welcome barrister and public affairs professional Caroline Feeney to the charity’s voluntary Board of Trustees.

Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2009, Caroline previously practised as a defence barrister at Three Temple Gardens in London and held political and diplomatic roles with both the Office of Senator Hillary Clinton in Washington and at the British Embassy to the Holy See. She later served as Political Director of the SDLP, has held senior leadership roles at Staffline Ireland, and served as Chief Executive of the educational charity the Goliath Trust.

Caroline now works as a self-employed consultant, advising clients across the public and private sectors on strategy and public affairs.

Caroline’s appointment comes at a time of growth for the organisation as we commence construction on Daisy Lodge Cong, our second therapeutic facility. As we continue to move forward and develop our services for children impacted by cancer across the island of Ireland, having Caroline’s knowledge and experience to support us in our mission will be invaluable. I would like to welcome Caroline to the team and thank her for her commitment to our services and for helping to ensure no child faces cancer alone.
