Mivan Supports Cancer Fund for Children
Mivan, Bespoke Joinery and Interior Fit-Out Specialists have raised £12,000 in support of children and families impacted by cancer throughout 2022.
After choosing us as their charity of the year for 2022, the team at Mivan devised a jam-packed programme of fundraising events to help us ensure no child has to face cancer alone, including a Bake Off, One Million Step Challenge, Spinathons and endless coffee mornings. They also took part in our Superhero Skydive, Slieve Donard climb, Bog Run and Christmas Jumper Day.
As well as this incredible fundraising effort, Mivan provided a bespoke shed for the Narnia Garden at Daisy Lodge, built by their first-year apprentices and serviced all of the fire doors at the centre.
I’m very proud of the Mivan team for raising £12,000 on behalf of our 2022 charity partner, Cancer Fund for Children. We had so much fun fundraising, volunteering, and offering our joinery services throughout the year to our charity. It was a very special moment for us when our 1st year apprentices used their craft to build a shed for our charity’s Daisy Lodge. A great example of using your talents for the betterment of others. We would like to thank to all who donated and supported us throughout the year, without your kind generosity we wouldn’t have been able to achieve the fantastic total! And finally we would like to thank the amazing Team at Cancer Fund For Children, for all your help and most importantly for all the important work you do in our community.
