26 Mountains 2 Mayo Challenge Raises €1.8m
We want to say a very special thank you to the incredible 26 Mountains 2 Mayo participants who alongside friends, family, colleagues and the business community, raised the phenomenal amount of £1.6m / €1.8m to support children and young people impacted by cancer across Ireland.
From 7th – 15th June, this extraordinary team climbed the highest peak in every county across the island of Ireland. They battled rough terrain, brutal weather conditions and fatigue, all to help ensure no child faces cancer alone, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
This challenge was kindly sponsored by our long-term partner Arachas Corporate Brokers Ltd whose staff, alongside the 25 business leaders, also laced up their hiking boots and completed the 9-day challenge raising €150,000.
Along this journey the team were also supported by other generous sponsors who provided lunch, snacks, clothing, dinners and more, including Around Noon, Kingsbridge Healthcare Group, Boojum, Irish News, KPMG, Bank of Ireland, Derry Transport, Simply Fruit, Kukri, Portwest, Kelly’s Supermarket Group, Keogh’s Farm, Foods of Athenry, Bunzel McLoughlin, O’Hehirs Bakery and Pat Cohan’s Cong.
