The Challenge

With 4 spaces available for the 2026 event, get in touch today to take on one of the worlds best marathons and help us ensure no child has to face cancer alone.

The Paris Marathon combines personal challenge with the chance to discover the beautiful ‘City of Love’.

Starting and finishing at the Arc de Triomphe, you will pound the pavements of the French capital’s most famous avenues and plazas, taking in the Place de la Concorde, Rue de Rivoli, the Opéra Garnier, the Place de la Bastille, and seeing the stunning sights of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.

The 2025 event had a record-breaking 56,950 runners from around the world taking on this incredible challenge making memories that will stay with them forever. Key Details

Package: Race entry only. Flights, accommodation, transport and meals are NOT included. Runners must arrange these details themselves.

Costs: We ask all participants to pay an upfront £130/€150 registration fee directly to Cancer Fund for Children and to raise a minimum of £1,100/€1,200 in sponsorship.

Eligibility: To take part in this event, you must have been born in 2005 or earlier.

Medical Certification/Health Prevention Course Form: To take part in this event and in order to receive your race number, you will be required to produce either a medical certificate. Details can be found by clicking here.

Fundraising: Once signed up, your dedicated Fundraising Team member will be with you every step of the way to help you reach your fundraising goals. We will provide a link for you to set up an online fundraising page, offer ideas on how to achieve your target, and provide supporting materials such as sponsor forms, banners, balloons and buckets.

What you receive: A dedicated team member to support your incredible efforts; a Cancer Fund for Children running vest; cheer materials for family/friends spectating; and regular updates as to how your incredible efforts are making a massive difference for children and young people impacted by cancer across the island of Ireland.
