Brew some good for children with cancer

Every month across the island of Ireland, approximately 40 children and young people (aged 0-24) are diagnosed with cancer.

February 15^th marks International Childhood Cancer Day, designed to raise awareness of the impact of childhood cancer on the whole family and to generate vital funds so these families don’t face their experience alone. By taking on a coffee morning throughout this month, you will be enabling our Cancer Support Specialists to provide emotional, social and therapeutic support to children, young people and families when they need it most, at home, in hospital and at our therapeutic short break centre, Daisy Lodge.

Organising Your Daisy Coffee Morning

By popping the kettle on and sharing some sweet treats with loved ones, you and your guests can help provide vital services for these families, so they don’t have to face their experience alone.

So, how do you go about organising your Coffee Morning? Simple:

Download your free fundraising toolkit at the bottom of this page
Pick any date throughout February that suits you best and choose your location
Invite your guests
Have the tea, coffee and buns ready (you could ask everyone to donate some goodies for the day, or get everyone baking)
Ask your guests for a donation to join in the fun

Maximising your event:

If you want to take your Coffee Morning to the next level, consider adding in a Bake Off competition or a raffle!

Accepting donations:

Collecting in your donations can be really easy to do. You can accept cash on the day which you can then forward on to Cancer Fund for Children by bank transfer, or set up an online giving page.
