The difference you can make
No parent expects to hear the words, “your child has cancer.”
Yet every month across the island of Ireland, up to another 40 children, teenagers and young adults (aged 0-24) are diagnosed.
A childhood cancer diagnosis turns life upside down for the whole family. This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, you can help ensure no child or family faces cancer alone.
Right now, Cancer Fund for Children supports more than 1,000 families with vital emotional and practical support, delivered in homes, hospitals, communities and at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down (and soon to be Daisy Lodge on Cong, Co. Mayo which is due to open in Spring 2027).
This life-changing support is only possible because of people like you. By fundraising this September, you’ll help more children, young people and families get the support they need, when they need it most.
Make a donation or start your own fundraiser today. Whether you go solo or team up with friends, colleagues, your school, club or community group, explore the ideas below and get involved. 💛
