We were delighted to bring parents and children who have a sibling with cancer together at Castlecomer Discovery Park for a day filled with connection, understanding, and resilience

Surrounded by nature, the young people involved were able to explore what it means to have a sibling with cancer. They shared stories, built friendships and discovered tools to help them manage big feelings. Parents were given space to connect with others who truly understood and were introduced to strategies that could help them build resilience and create calm during times of uncertainty.

They also had plenty of fun! From conquering the sky walk to practicing hot chocolate breathing while exploring the outdoors.

Thank you to everyone who made this milestone event so special. From Castlecomer Discovery Park who created outdoor activities that complemented our therapeutic work, to Offbeat Donuts and Sue and the team at Jarrow Café who kept everyone fuelled and refreshed.
