Brian Kennedy

Brian Kennedy is one of Ireland’s most inspired and revered ambassadors of music. He is not only a prolific songwriter but a master interpreter of lyrics as well, and audiences around the world continue to praise his exceptional vocal talents. Originally from Belfast, the multi-platinum recording artist remains one of Ireland’s most popular singing stars. Brian is first and foremost a live performer and songwriter declaring “music is my lifeblood.”  His constant touring from Ireland and the UK to Australia, Europe, Asia and the USA, including the major global festivals, has resulted in an ever-growing international fan base, over a phenomenal three-decade career. Ulster Youth Orchestra

Now celebrated as one of the leading youth orchestras in the UK, the award-winning Ulster Youth Orchestra was initiated by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland in October 1993. Working in close association with the Education Authority, the organisation brings together the most talented young instrumentalists aged 14-23 from throughout Northern Ireland for residential courses and concerts, CD recordings, special projects, workshops and events. The Ulster Youth Orchestra provides the highest level of musical training from leading professional musicians and distinguished conductors. The Ulster Youth Orchestra is a cross-community organisation. Annual auditions ensure the young players are selected purely on the basis of musical ability regardless of religion or social background.

Cancer Fund for Children Care Free Choir

The Care Free Choir is a community of children and families impacted by cancer, plus Cancer Fund for Children staff and volunteers who meet every two weeks to sing and socialise together. It’s well known that singing can have a hugely positive impact on physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing and the choir provides a safe, restorative space where members can come together and relax through music. The choir’s journey has seen them share their incredible talents at numerous prestigious events. Notable performances include their appearance at The Daisy Ball in Dublin and a recorded rendition of Disney’s “Brave” in support of Rory Best’s ambitious 330km ‘Rory’s Miles 2 Mayo’ challenge.
