Phil Alexander has been with Cancer Fund for Children for ten years, formerly as Director of Services, and prior to that spent four years working as our Residential Services Manager during which time he was instrumental in shaping Cancer Fund for Children’s therapeutic short breaks and residential group work programme.
Phil has over 20 years of experience working in the statutory and voluntary sector developing services for children, young people and their families. He has a Masters in Youth and Community work and his extensive experience of direct service delivery provides him with an in-depth insight and knowledge of the needs of children and families impacted by cancer.
Phil is innovative and creative in his approach and is passionate about ensuring we deliver on our mission – to connect, empower and strengthen young people living with cancer and their families. He is also committed to ensuring Cancer Fund for Children, works collaboratively throughout the sector, developing the profile of the charity across Ireland and building upon the organisations strong and vital relationship with the local business community.
