We can help by offering specialist therapeutic services to children, young people and their families where a child aged 0-24 has been diagnosed with cancer or a parent of a child aged 0-24 has been diagnosed with cancer.
If you live in the Republic of Ireland and have a child aged 0-18 diagnosed with cancer, referrals for therapeutic short breaks at Daisy Lodge are currently made through the Social Work team at Children’s Health Ireland.
Our Criteria for support is:
Children and young people aged 0-24 diagnosed with cancer in the last 2 years.
Parents diagnosed with cancer in the last year, who have children aged 0-24
Support is also offered where a child or parent has had a reoccurrence of their disease or they have been given a palliative diagnosis within the last year.
