Manufacturing company raises £10,000 for children impacted by cancer

Harlequin Manufacturing in Moira raised £10,000 throughout 2022 to help support children, young people and families impacted by cancer after choosing us as their charity of the year.

Throughout the year, members of the Harlequin team took on a variety of challenges to help us ensure no child has to face cancer alone, tackling our Mile in My Shoes walk, the Belfast City Marathon and a sponsored motorcycle ride. They also volunteered in their free time to help maintain the beautiful gardens at our therapeutic short break centre, Daisy Lodge and to pack reindeer dust over the festive period.

Harlequin Manufacturing Limited were delighted to partner with Cancer Fund for Children during 2022 to raise an amazing £10,000. It was an honour to be able to help them in their mission to ensure that no child should face cancer alone and to help raise funds to support as many families impacted by cancer as possible.

Selecting a local charity and being able to volunteer at Daisy Lodge during the year helped some of our staff see first-hand the vital services that the charity provides and the difference it makes to the people in our communities. This partnership has allowed us to make a difference whilst challenging ourselves, working together for the greater good, getting to know each other better, and enjoying some fun-filled activities along the way!

We are so thankful to our staff and customers, without whom we would not have been able to reach our target.
