Cancer Support Specialist - Community Based

Children and young people react to a cancer diagnosis in different ways, regardless of age, gender, social background or family makeup. Our Cancer Support Specialists meet children and young people where they are at. We deliver emotional, social and informal therapeutic support in the family home and the community, helping children and young people connect, speak openly, and develop key skills so they feel better equipped to cope with the impact of cancer.

Community-based support is available across the island of Ireland. We have specialists working across Munster, Leinster, Connaught and Ulster to ensure no child has to face cancer alone.

These roles are funded in partnership with The Katie Nugent Fund.

If you would like to find out more about the support available, please contact our services team on services@cancerfundforchildren.com or call 01 562 1580.
