Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Whatever the weather, indoors or outdoors, you can hold your very own picnic in aid of Cancer Fund for Children. Tell pupils to bring along their favourite teddy and it is sure to be a great day.

When is it?

You can choose a day that suits your school or nursery. Northern Irish weather can be a little unreliable, but with our fun fundraising pack it is sure to be a great event.

What will you receive?

Once you sign up you will receive a free fundraising pack which includes;

  • A fun arts and craft activity sheet
  • Colouring in activity sheet
  • Posters to advertise you event
  • Sponsorship form for each child

School Visits – We can offer a visit from our Schools Fundraiser (if Covid Restrictions allow) which would give the pupils the opportunity to hear all about the work of Cancer Fund for Children.

Why take part?

As well as having lots of fun, your school or nursery will make a difference to local children living with cancer across Northern Ireland. By simply choosing your favourite teddy and joining in the picnic fun you will help Cancer Fund for Children support families through a range of services including therapeutic short breaks at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle and one to one support sessions with our Specialists.
