Help In Hand
September 9, 2020 - July 8, 2021
Four little fingers and a thumbs can have a huge impact when they are used to help others!
What is Help in Hand?
Help in Hand is our brand new schools campaign which encourages pupils to carry out good deeds or tasks, one for each finger and thumb on their hand, and make a donation for each task successfully completed.
These tasks can be carried out at home or in school and could include;
- Tidying your room
- Setting the table
- Help your teacher tidy up
- Feeding your pet
When does it take place?
Help in Hand can be held anytime throughout the school year but it also ties in perfectly with World Smile Day on 2nd October and Kindness Day UK on 13th November.
What you will receive;
Each school that registers will receive a free fundraising pack including;
- Activity sheets and wristband for each pupil,
- Decorative bunting
- Information for teachers
School visits – Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic our usual school visits are not as easy as they once were. We now have specially made videos for schools which will help educate children on how their support will help Cancer Fund for Children.
Why take part?
Help in Hand is fun & easy, pupils can have fun with the activity sheets provided and help decorate the classroom. It also teaches the importance of doing something nice for others and the value of making people smile!
