The Challenge
We are thrilled to once again be offering our amazing supporters the chance to take to the skies in aid of Cancer Fund Children with the talented team from Skydive Ireland.
You can choose between our Bunny Hop Skydive on Saturday 1st April, or our Superhero Skydive on Saturday 23rd September.
Let 2023 be your year of adventure with the rush of an exhilarating tandem skydive while soaking up the majestic wonders of Northern Ireland’s North Coast including Mussenden Temple, Dunluce Castle, and The Giant’s Causeway as you glide back down to Earth. Now that’s a view!
The tandem skydive is the most popular and the most ideal way that you can try out skydiving for the first time without needing any experience at all. You will be attached to an expert instructor to ensure safety and use a large parachute designed for two people.
Skydive Ireland offer the highest skydive across the island of Ireland from a whopping 15,000ft. You will freefall at 120mph before the parachute is deployed and you gently descend for a soft touchdown in front of friends and family.
You can read our event FAQ’s below before taking the leap to registration, or don’t hesitate to contact our Events & Campaigns Officer Alex Murdock on 028 9080 5599 or email alex@cancerfundforchildren.com.
Making a Difference
Most importantly, by taking on this incredible challenge you will raising vital funds to ensure we can continue to be there for young people and families when they need us most.
Every week in Northern Ireland, another 3 children are diagnosed with cancer.
At Cancer Fund for Children, we understand the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and its treatment have on the whole family, and that beyond the essential medical care, there is a family life that needs to be rebuilt. Help us connect, empower, and strengthen families so they feel better equipped to deal with what lies ahead on their cancer journey.
You will have the support of our Fundraising Team every step of the way to support your incredible efforts. From providing sponsorship forms and helping you with event ideas to help you reach your target (coffee morning, quiz night, whatever you fancy!), to providing you with buckets, balloons, banners, and much more, we are only ever a phone call or email away to help make it all possible.
