The iconic race will take you through St Stephen’s Green and St Patrick’s Cathedral before reaching the quays and crossing the Liffey onto the northside. The 26.2 mile / 42.2 km trek will then take you through Phoenix Park, Castleknock and Chapelizod before crossing the Liffey once more and travelling through Ballyfermot, Kilmainham and Rialto. You will then head out into west Dublin along the Crumlin, Drimnagh and Walkinstown roads before passing through Terenure, Rathgar and Milltown. From there, the route travels through Clonskeagh, before heading past University College Dublin and looping down Nutley Lane before the final two miles through Ballsbridge to the finish line at Merrion Square.

It is quite the adventure and Cancer Fund for Children are calling on you to join us to help us ensure that we can reach young people and families impacted by cancer when they need us most.

Registration Fee & Sponsorship

We ask each accepted runner to pay a £100 / €110 up front registration fee to secure your place and raise a minimum of £1,000 / €1,100.

We ask that 50% of your sponsorship is raised no later than Friday 25th April 2025 to confirm your race participation.

By taking part in the Dublin Marathon for Team Daisy, you will receive:

• A Cancer Fund for Children branded running vest for training and race day.
• Our dedicated Fundraising Team behind you every step of the way to support your fundraising journey from tips on the best fundraising activities to organise, or supporting materials such as hard copy sponsor forms, buckets, banners, balloons and much more.
• The benefits of signing up via Realbuzz which will include access to online training and entry to the finisher event on race day.
• The knowledge that your incredible efforts are helping to ensure that children and young people across the island of Ireland do not have to face cancer alone.
