Christmas at Cancer Fund for Children

OVER THE FESTIVE PERIOD ANOTHER 12 CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WILL BE DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER.  CANCER WON’T STOP AND WITH YOUR SUPPORT NEITHER WILL WE.

This Christmas make a real difference by supporting one of our festive campaigns. Your support will help us ensure children don’t have to face cancer alone. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

Cancer Fund for Children Presents for PoundsPresents for Pounds
Swap presents for pounds this festive season and make a difference.  Instead of receiving Christmas presents from pupils, we are inviting school staff to ask parents to make a donation to Cancer Fund for Children. Find out how your school, nursery or day care can get involved here.

HOW YOUR GIFT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS CHRISTMAS

£30 could provide a children with cancer with an individual support session to reduce the isolation they feel and help them cope better with the emotional impact of cancer

£200 could help us provide online group support to young people struggling to coping with their parent’s cancer, connecting them with other young people who understand what they are going through

 £500 could provide a parent with the opportunity to attend one of our Health and Wellbeing mini breaks in Daisy Lodge to help them cope better with stress and anxiety

£1,000 could provide a family with a free therapeutic short break in a nurturing environment, far removed from the pressures of  cancer treatment
