Your Impact
Every month across Ireland, 28 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer.
At Cancer Fund for Children, we understand the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and its treatment have on the whole family, and that beyond the essential medical care, there is a family life that needs to be rebuilt. Our aim is to empower, connect and strengthen families, so they feel equipped to deal with whatever cancer throws at them. This simply wouldn’t be possible without you.
By taking on the Bog in March 2025, we can continue to ensure that our team of Cancer Support Specialists are there to provide support in the family home and community in Munster, Leinster, and Connaught, on the hospital ward at Crumlin, Dublin and at Daisy Lodge, our therapeutic short break centre in Newcastle, Co. Down.
In 2025 our Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo will commence building – we will soon be able to more than double the number of families who are offered short therapeutic breaks!
Together, we can ensure no child has to face cancer alone.
