All Wrapped Up

December 1, 2019 - December 24, 2019

The cheesiest, banter fuelled and best Christmas jumper day around is back for its seventh year and we know you can’t wait to join us! ‘Tis the season to get All Wrapped Up once again with Cancer Fund for Children and pull out all the stops with your finest and worst Christmas attire.

We want lights, singing jumpers, suits, dresses, tinsel and all Christmas related items out in force as we spread Christmas cheer all over Northern Ireland in workplaces, schools, community groups and in homes. Not only is it a cracking day of fun for your workmates, friends and family, but the best part is that by mucking around and letting your hair down for a bit of Christmas fun you will also make a massive difference to the lives of local children and their family living with cancer. Win, win you absolute star! ⚝

This Christmas, another 12 families will be told the devastating news their child has cancer. Our mission is to empower, connect and strengthen young people and their families so they are able not just to survive, but thrive beyond cancer. By joining us, the money you raise will help us provide practical and emotional support as well as free therapeutic short breaks in our short break centre, Daisy Lodge, at a time when it is needed the most.

So how does it work?

It’s simple! Choose any day you like throughout December, gather your colleagues, school pupils, friends or family together and have everyone Christmasify themselves with their best Christmas jumper for the day while making a donation to Cancer Fund for Children! Easy, right? Right!

The best bit is you can make your day into whatever you want it to be. Add in some additional festive fun with some of our ideas below:

Christmas Coffee Morning / Bake Off

Mince pies? Chocolate yule log? Hot chocolate? Ginger bread men? Ferrero Roches? YES PLEASE! You know you want some sweet treats too this Christmastime, so have your guests donate some bought or baked items for your coffee morning and have a wonderful day having a good old chinwag over a nice hot cuppa. Hosting All Wrapped Up with a competitive bunch? Organise the ultimate Christmas bake off! Check out the tasty recipes in our Fundraising Pack.

Host a battle of the brains themed on everything Christmassy. You can organise your own quiz or check out our Christmas Jokes and Santa Beard Challenge included in your pack! You could also take things to the next step and have a Christmas Challenge Day – from the quickest Christmas jumper dresser challenge, to gingerbread house technical and Christmas relays, there is lots you can do. Check out our pack for some inspiration.

Presents for Pounds

Instead of the usual Secret Santa, why not make a donation to Cancer Fund for Children instead? It saves you the hassle of thinking of the perfect gift but more importantly you’ll also be making a real difference to families affected by cancer. Gift aid donation envelopes are available upon request!

Christmas Hamper Raffle

Everyone loves a good Christmas hamper, right? Of course they do! You can purchase or make up your own hamper or you could ask guests to donate some items to make one up. Once your hamper is looking absolutely fabulous, raffle it off using the raffle sheet included in our pack! It is a great way to boost funds raised on your All Wrapped Up day.

By wrapping up in your Christmas jumper, you will help us provide ‘wrap-around’ support to young people and families all across Northern Ireland so they don’t have to face cancer alone. We couldn’t be there for them without people like you by our side. Together, we can make a difference.
