A message from Phil Alexander, CEO of Cancer Fund for Children

The health and well being of the children and young people we support, and their families is our top priority.  As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to develop we have taken the decision to pause service delivery from now until 27th March.  This includes :

  • Therapeutic short breaks at Daisy Lodge
  • Residential Group Work at our Narnia log cabin
  • Individual Support in family homes and on hospital wards.

Both our head office and therapeutic short break centre will remain open and our Community Specialists will continue to offer support to young people and families impacted by cancer digitally and by phone.

We are continually monitoring the coronavirus situation and taking any sensible and necessary precautions for our families, staff, volunteers and supporters in line with the very latest advice provided by Public Health.

You can help minimise the risk by following the guidance on the NHS website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
