Help Develop Our Bereavement Support Service

 In News

Cancer Fund for Children is reviewing and developing the bereavement support we offer to children, young people and families across Northern Ireland. Currently our services continue to be available to families we are supporting when they are bereaved for up to three years.

The first step in our review process is a consultation with families. We would like to invite any parents in Northern Ireland who have experienced the death of a child or partner due to cancer and have children aged 0-24 to take part in our survey.

You can complete the survey here.

You don’t need to have used any of Cancer Fund For Children’s services to take part in the consultation.  We welcome this opportunity to listen to your views and to learn from the honest experiences of local families who have been bereaved by cancer. Our survey will remain open until Monday 29th March 2021.

The insight provided by those who complete the survey will be used to help us shape the direction of our support for children, young people and families in Northern Ireland now, and in the future.
